Federal Member for Petrie Luke Howarth MP has today announced $99,000 to help the Redcliffe Coast Guard refurbish their primary rescue vessel.

“The Redcliffe Coast Guard volunteers do an incredible job in our area,” said Luke Howarth MP.

“Earlier this year, I caught up with some of the Coast Guard members to help them put some reflective tape on a post out in Moreton Bay that was a real danger to boaties heading through Moreton Bay.

“The volunteers are so professional and highly skilled, and we’re lucky to have them in our local waters, keeping boaties safe.”

“The Turnbull Coalition Team is dedicated to building stronger communities across Australia. We understand that by investing in projects such as this one, we help grow a more vibrant and viable community,” said Luke Howarth MP.

Luke Howarth MP has previously secured $5,455 for the Redcliffe Coast Guard, to assist with refurbishing their training room.
